I grew up in Jacksonville, Florida, graduating high school from Douglas Anderson School of the Arts as a fine arts major in sculpture back in 2013. For 3 years, I worked at a local summer camp in Florida, designing and screen printing the camp t-shirts, and during the summer of 2012, I worked as an intern compiling a database for Legal Art Works, a medical illustration company that works with law firms specializing in challenging court cases. I am a recent graduate from the Cleveland Institute of Art where I received a Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts for Biomedical Illustration. Throughout my student career, I've had the pleasure of working with University Hospitals in which I scrubbed in on surgeries to observe and draw complex procedures; I've interned at the Cleveland Clinic in which I collaborated with other medical illustrators and animators to produce various projects for clients; I've also worked closely with the anthropology and entomology departments at the Cleveland Natural History Museum, as well as the Cleveland Botanical Gardens.
